If your technology would require a report and more than one patent, our fees are reduced fee for each additional patent.  For U.S. clients and technologies desiring to enter certain world markets or circumstances having unusual situations which do not fit our standard Phase 1 contract, FranTech will provide a quote for any custom services required.

Phase II :  Comprehensive Business Plan

Along with your Phase I report, FranTech will provide a detailed proposal for any subsequent services or development to proceed.  Phase II, which offers a complete business plan including Detailed Market and Technical Analysis of your technology, also includes specific recommendations on how to enter target markets.  In special situations which require a more complex plan or customized approach, FranTech will provide a detailed quote for preparation of the business plan and custom services for approval before proceeding.  By utilizing FranTech’s broad Business Development and Marketing Contacts throughout the world, your technology is pre-disposed to the target markets for our Preliminary Analysis and Test Marketing. FranTech Business and Market Research and Reporting / Analytic Capabilities demonstrate the various business sectors that would be most responsive to your technology.

FranTech assesses your technology for specific Market Niches and points of inception and the best channels for distribution.  As the development of Phase I comes to pass, potential recommendations could be made to either license the technology to an existing company, initiate a joint venture with a services or support company, or to possibly start a new company to maximize the commercialization of your technology in the target markets.  Based upon your preferences and applicable recommendations and options from Phase I and, FranTech will tailor the business  plan to concentrate on one of the following approaches.

•   Potential Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliance Partners
•   Potential Licensees / Franchisees
•   Development of a Comprehensive Business Plan and/or Investment
Document / Offering; which will serve as the basis for starting a new
       business entity.

In building each specific business case, FranTech consultants rely on proven Protocol and Procedures to determine the details for the Development, Qualification and Methodologies for transfer for any information concerning FranTech contacts.

FranTech will provide Full Disclosure as to the specific entities, companies, and individuals to be contacted, the rationale or strategies for approaching each entity is also included.  The final result is a Comprehensive Strategic Business Plan with specific recommendations from FranTech as to the “Who”, “Why”, and “How” of optimizing the commercialization of your technology.

Phase III :  Options for Technology Transfer

The proposal for full commercialization is presented with the Business Plan at the conclusion of Phase II.  Experience has taught us that every technology is unique and needs to be approached as such to elicit the greatest potential.  FranTech has the resources to help you to fully realize this potential.  Some of the options that are available for commercializing the Client’s Technology would be: Licensing the Technology to an existing company that is established in a given field or industry; and/or developing a Joint Venture or Strategic Alliance with a complimentary technology company or supporting services company; and/or creating a new company to focus on the Commercialization of the technology in the target markets.

A ~   Licensing

Once the patent application is on file, your product can be licensed.  Licensing your technology into International Markets offers important opportunities for Accelerated Market Penetration and Licensing / Royalties and Revenues to Subsidize the development of company infrastructure and other support aspects to further accelerate product introduction.  The founders of FranTech have concluded hundreds of licenses covering a broad range of industrial technologies, resulting in the successful Development and Capitalization of various companies in support of Patents and Trademarks in the U.S. and in some 45 countries around the world.

The licensing process begins with Identification and Determination of the qualifications of prospective licensees and continues with exchanges of pertinent information, proposals, and negotiations.  The conclusion of this effort is an income producing license which would usually provide for an up front licensing fee or payment and on-going royalties based on sales of products and services in support of said license.  In certain cases, FranTech may elect to become the master licensee, negotiating and monitoring any sub-licensing agreements and collecting the royalties for you.

B ~   Joint Ventures / Strategic Alliances

Joint Ventures and/or Strategic Alliances will often offer a small company the most expedient route to Commercialize the technology in the Target Markets.  These Alliances and subsequent agreements are as varied in form as are the technologies themselves and must be negotiated based upon merits and core competencies of the two partner entities.  For example, you might form an alliance with a technology services firm with proven marketing ability, and provide the finished product to that company for marketing and sales support.  FranTech, has negotiated many such alliances and you may elect to contract our firm as principal in these efforts.

C ~   New Company

In many cases, it will be appropriate to start a new company for the Production and Marketing of a new technology.  Although the specific requirements for starting a new company vary greatly, FranTech’s principals are very experienced in this area, and have been essential in our support for starting successful technology companies for our clients.

In these instances, FranTech would secure skilled management and appropriate investors for the start-up company.  FranTech provides specifications for Infrastructure, Core Business Applications, and Monitoring Systems that track up to 1000 Business Requirements.

FranTech stays involved to insure management and the new company meets their goals and achieves success in its initial stages by providing the management controls and expertise that often are lacking in start-up companies.

FranTech Strategies International, Inc. may elect to become a Partner with You and to enjoy the benefits of a vested shareholder in your successful new enterprise.  In this scenario, it is important to note that both You and FranTech receive the greatest mutual benefit through the success of the new company.
